The Bell in the Morning Rain

There comes a time in life, quickly approaching, when a decision needs making; the time comes to decide who you are.

How will you decide? You. Not me. You have to choose for you.

I could feel the soft reverberations passing through my weary frame. The old bell tolled, it’s voice unquestionable, for it asked the questions. Soft rains pelted the dewy earth as a grey morning stretched and yawned its way to noon.

Gathered in beads about the cusp of the bell, the rain shone in glimmering jewels like diamond starlight, reflecting the light of the glimmering white clouds.
