I’m delighted to be joining Jake and Co. on Rollin’ Shorties tonight; delighted and already exhausted. We’ll be reading—well, fate will decide. Will it be good? Bad? Fun? I hope it will be fun. I’m also crossing my fingers that it will be a vampire story, at least; I’m trying to keep that theme going this month. If you’ve got the time, maybe stop by and join us. I’ve been slowly making my way through it, story by story, and even though my own “Dreams of Nyarlathotep” is still undisputedly the best, you might also deign to read the other titles; in all seriousness, I am overjoyed to be a part of this “Pulp Island” Jake is putting together and to add my voice to this collection. No man is an island unto himself, so they say, and to find others who share a taste for yesteryear’s forgotten world of imagination and adventure is to find good harbor.
Anyway, we’re going to roll the dice and take what life gives us, and by God, let’s try to have a little fun along the way.
