I have been thinking about buying one of these things for a while now. I finally have enough money to do it, and I have a situation where I might have use of it. So, it arrived yesterday, and I played around with it. Here’s a thing I wrote:
The handwriting to text feature is actually pretty good. With a few little edits, I had a transcript:
We shall begin, I think with a question: In what way are you unhappy?
A long silence…
In every way—but also, it is in no real way that I can explain. I have things. Every material thing I could need, & even a little for things I don’t need. Money, I mean, but no time. I sleep, but can’t rest. I drink, but always thirst. I weep & I weep.
The Doctor scratches out a few notes.
There is always death? There are prescriptions, painless in the taking.
Do you even weep? Have you never once thought on what you have become? Beyond the feeble dreams of good Dr. Kevorkian good old uncle Death—and what Dreams are there in those lands to which you long to send me? Who has returned to tell?
Jumping withe sudden energy—the patient grabs the Dr.’s throat.
Will we go together then?
