As September ends, some small part in me, grinning a wicked smile, is overjoyed to be entering the month of October. Bring me the Candy Corn; let’s put on a mask; it’s time to explore the night. On this blog, Halloween is never far away.
But whereas I seem to keep Halloween in my heart all year long, now it is actually here. (Did I mention the Candy Corn? I’m going to go buy Candy Corn. Never mind, I found some. I am eating the CANDY CORN!)
To christen the coming festivities, here is my question:
Afraid of candy corn, Halloween, or something else. I don’t exactly care much fpr candy corn. Halloween does not scare me. I don’t “celebrate” because I’m afraid of it but because I am aware of it’s origins.

I understand. (Don’t feel bad about taking time off either. I’m glad you’re choosing to rest weekends. A sabbath is necessary for the human animal, and for his spirit.)

Thank you. I’m getting the urge to write again on weekends.
