Short Reads: The End?

So, that’s the last of them. All the short stories from While the Elephants Danced are available individually on Kindle for 99¢ each. I haven’t seen this generating any interest, but I haven’t really had much of a chance to advertise yet. I suppose I’ll figure something out this weekend. I may, when my finances get a little better, hire an actual artist to do individual covers for them. For the nonce, the AI generated ones aren’t terrible; actually, some of them came out pretty good.

I do not know if this will be a way to get my stories out there. I’ve been trying to think up a project idea for releasing more short stories monthly. However, I just don’t have the time. I barely have the time to write anything as it is. One idea is to write some short stories within the vampire world I’ve created in Post Mortem (I’ve already written a few). Another is a series of sci-fi short stories I’ve been outlining/writing off and on. I have an idea for a collection of short stories about a group of paranormal investigators, but that one would require a lot more outlining work than has yet been done. A sort of dark horse idea keeps running through my mind: I could just skip out on all these projects I’ve been working on and write what I know I can almost always write, zombies. That idea feels a little too broad, though.

Oh well, here are the links to the last five short stories:

Psst! Hey kid, wanna buy a book?
