I remember an old, atheist joke: “When one person hears a voice, that’s schizophrenia, but when everybody hears a voice, it’s religion.” I’m tempted to reply, if everyone can hear something you can’t, maybe the world’s not crazy; maybe you’re deaf.
If you can’t see the forest through the trees, maybe you don’t know what you’re looking for.
If you define existence as material, fine, then you yourself don’t exist, for the barriers that separate your material from its surroundings don’t exist. They are a pattern we comprehend, but they can’t be seen or weighed out; only accepted or rejected.
Then too, morality doesn’t exist. You can’t see morality in the sense I took this argument to mean see. Mathematics, Love, Death are all incomprehensible by this standard, that is, to steal a phrase, if everything is matter, then nothing matters.
Value is gone, distinction is gone, and you’re left with nothing in the end, because the very means by which you see are things which you cannot see. I cannot see a rock if I cannot distinguish one rock from another, or one rock from the air. Heck, how is one even to see something as large as a planet? It is merely a denser spot of matter than the surrounding universe, but it all averages out. You can’t see the perception, the means by which you tell one thing from another.
If you say the perception doesn’t exist but the things perceived do, how am I to take the things I perceive as more real than the invisible Tao by which I perceived them? They both exist, but in very different ways.

ROFL. Curious how that’s just a typical baseless assertion from a theist. There are certainly barriers, and trying to claim there aren’t is rather amusing.

Death is quite comprehsnsible, since physical systems end. Mathmatics is just describing teh universe and love is a human emotion. It depends on matter, the brain to exist. So perception exists and that which is perceived exists. your attempt to invent a vague god that exists, but has no attributes fails.
