Poem: From a Hidden Spring

Please Read:
From a Hidden Spring

I heard upon the mountain
rumors of a spring
whose clear and tasty waters
sound a gentle ring.

The droplets trickle downward
on the stones below
producing varied pitches.
So the stories go.

And to this story adding,
telling one more thing,
that from this flows a river
also heard to sing.

Pouring from mountain cavern,
mixed with melting snow,
that stream becomes a torrent
many’ve come to know.
