  1. This is an interesting look at some of Nathaniel’s possible reasons for being convinced of Christ’s divinity. It reminds me of how no one can reason their way into Heaven–each child of God is a miracle birthed from the movement of God upon their heart (the conception of the Holy Spirit within). It reminds me of how relational Jesus is and how convincing and transforming He is when we actually meet Him. I can read His Word, talk about Him all day, and write all the blog posts I want without actually having that prime directive Nathaniel seemed to have, and all my efforts would be practically worthless. What I need to strive for is to see everything I do as an opportunity to meet Jesus, work with and for Him, and hear Him speak to me more and more.
