BY DR. AGONSON
Right before the world was born
Everything by chaos torn
Mighty words broke through the din;
Enlightenment—order would win.
More days, more words, and all was made
Because a voice bedlam arrayed.
Entered upon the last day, Man,
Reserved to act within the plan.
Resentment at the light waxed strong:
Exposed in all that he did wrong,
Man sought refuge in the dark
Enraged because of one small spark.
Members of the priestly class
Beheld the Son upon an ass.
Everyone said, “Crucify!”
Raising him into the sky.
Revelation now foretells
Everything in parallels:
Many kings will join the beast;
Encircling fowls on them will feast.
Marriage supper of the lamb—
Blessed to go, I pray I am,
Entering unto that place—
Rejoicing in His perfect Grace.
