Looking ahead, I find another shopping trolly in my car’s path. Sighing, I pull the emergency break, unbuckle, and open my door. Pushing the cart out of my way, I think, for a moment, to leave it here. I’ve done my job, put my cart away, and why should I…but I’ll have to move it again, won’t I? Yes, I think I will.
With a grumble and an ill word, I put the stranger’s cart away for him, passing again that sometimes blank wall.
