Day followed day, year followed year, and legends morphed and grew. Some say he was killed, and others that he was a fantasy, a sort of constellation drawn from the deeds of many different vigilantes and attributed to one man; some wanted him back, and some still wanted him dead. He wanted nothing. From the pinnacle of righteous furry to the depthless bowels of despair, he’d come through and found peace. The stories about him continue, and of the many victims he is said to have saved, not a few of them began to flatter by imitation their first superhero.
