Forever

I was in a timeless plane, a darkness without end. I knew that I had known, if had is the right word for it, the tense. Everything was forgotten. I was…it is so hard to explain. For you all, I was gone a moment. The doctor realized his mistake, pushed a button, and “No harm, no foul,” as it were. Yet, there was experience; things happened in that little blip. A quarter of a second, he says, and yet, I feel old now, ancient. It was infinity beyond time. I was in darkness forever, and I do mean forever.
