Happy Mothers’ Day
My mother has refused to let me or any of us do anything for her, but we have spent nearly the whole day together, quietly. My father and I read to her, and we watched Murder, She Wrote.
The support of my mother, not just in giving birth to me, but in being there for me all throughout my life, is an immeasurable treasure. In fact, looking over my own life and how it has been enriched beyond any method of tabulation, I think that everyone should have a mother. Life wouldn’t be the same without one.
