I Left the Fatal Dream

A still and silent moment passed

I heard the mountain sigh
I felt the river's weeping soul
I knew I had to die.

Some things are not, some others are,
and some lie in-between.
Some dreams come true, some we forget,
and some are never seen.

I knew that I was mortal when
I drank the mountain stream,
and woke up to the living world…
I left the fatal dream.
