The last day of the year is here, or will be. I’m writing this a little ahead of schedule so I can take a bit of a break this last week. I’m excited. I entered another short story contest, and by the time this is up, I should know more. I doubt I placed. It was rushed, and not, I fear, my best work; however, there is a promise that all participants will receive feedback on their submissions. I really enjoyed the prompt and the ideas which sprung from it. I look forward to polishing it and expanding the story.
