There’s a problem that didn’t show up in standard testing. Last night, I experimented with a new automated system. The results came back, well, unusual. To put it bluntly, I think it has to be intentional. There’s a hidden function in the code that won’t do anything during what it knows to be a test. With my system, you can see it, like a blip in the assembly. I have no idea what it does. I can’t figure out what would actually trigger it. Maybe it’s just some dead code we could cut, but I can’t find it to flag.
