All That I Can

But is it any good, I ask myself,
or should I throw this tale upon the shelf?
There's something off, but something's right as well. 
I'm stuttering, but here's a truth to tell. 

Has it been worth the fight to write it down?
A vampire defeated by a clown, 
a silly tale told by a silly man—
silly worries—I've done all that I can.
