The sepulcher of the last knight is a cold crypt hewn of uncompromising stone. He lies in its center, his bones hidden under his carved image. The supine facsimile is clad in armor, a sword laid over its breast. The visor is up, and the restful, old face, which had for so long been hidden behind a black mask, seems at peace.
It is not far from where the dragon sleeps, whose waking, it is said, will end the world. It is said too, by those who loved him, that whatever wakes the last dragon must wake the last dragonslayer.
