Blinded

I wash my face in tears and stare into the sun,
a coward full of fears, forever on the run.
I lift my eyes to God, but cannot raise my voice,
for quick the old façade returns apart from choice.
What man the truth may know without some hidden lie?
He cannot tell his woe, cannot believe he'll die.
