Now, we are at the moment in an experimental phase. We don’t know what will or won’t work. Fire? Silver? Garlic? Stakes? These are all material means. We should, perhaps, prepare to use spiritual means as well; Prayer, fasting, and the Church might be considered. Yet this is not my primary worry. The fact that vampires exist may entail the existence of other, more terrible, things, like God, Heaven, and Hell. The fact that we must fight, maybe die, means we should all be preparing for eternity. We must consider the implications vampires have upon the existence of our souls.
