Drabble: More

What nightmares infect my eyes? What banshees invade my ears? What are these terrors surrounding me? Where are the goblins you warn me from? I see nothing but men and simple streets, cars and shops, all the trappings of life which you see. So why do you act as if my words are crazed, as if I were a ranting madman? I do not think myself overwhelmed by phantoms; no, it is you who are blinded by the ghosts of the past. You see these things that we both see, these ordinary bricks and signposts, yet I have seen more.
