Monster Poem: Lust of the Mummy

Please Enjoy:
Lust of the Mummy

So, I recently watched the old Boris Karloff movie The Mummy. It was a little dated, but a lot of fun as well. I have wanted in times past to add the Mummy to my collection of Monster Poems, but I had no real source to base a poem off of beside the comedy with Abbott and Costello. The Mummy exists semi-unconsciously as a character of horror in our culture, and as far as I can tell, this movie is one of the best depictions of that monstrous idea, even if it is not the most popular. So, for the first time ever on Monster Poems, this entry is primarily based not on some old novel, legend, or faery tale, but on a piece of classic cinema.
