Poem: Again

The melting, blue snow of a dying day,
the aborted winter’s passing away
the cascading rain falling down on me
and the dark of night’s a swelling black sea

All to say it’s come again
all to learn I cannot win
all to find there is no cure
all to give what’s never sure

Do not partake
Eat not one bite
Add not your life
Tease not its might
Help not it wake.

The end
is now
complete.
