Happy Forth of July everybody!
I will be taking a break from blogging, and probably most of the internet, starting today and going on through the weekend. However, I do not wish to leave my blog without some trappings over this time, so I have prepared a few post to go off during my hiatus. They are not long, but hopefully enjoyable.
In the meantime, say the pledge of allegiance, eat copious amounts of grilled meats and—what? You’re not all Americans? Huff. Fine, more barbeque for me.
As has been my custom the last two Forth of July’s, it seems incumbent upon me to present some patriotic quote from the Declaration of Independence:
. . . all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
Happy 4th.
