A Poem: Demons’ Birth

Crawling out of Hell they return to earth.
Bodies black and burned, fire gives them birth,
bursting forth in plumes, ruptures from beneath.
Out of Hell they crawl. Bloody corpses seethe.

Carnal burned away;
nothing left to say.
In the frozen night
comes the damned plight.

One among thousands, captured innocent,
he uncorrupted, he could not be bent.
Heaven gives him life; rest are cursed undead.
Thousands, but there’s one. Here is what is said:

Children, run away;
evil has a say.
Soon will come the night.
I’m the demon’s plight!
