The night draws fast this Christmas Eve, and I pop onto my blog to wish you all a very merry Christmas. Tonight and tomorrow we celebrate the babe laying in a manger, the child which would grow and be the savior of the world. God came in the flesh to meet with us, the very means by which all was made entered His own creation in the precious and humble form of a man, a child, an infant in his mother’s arms.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
